Reflections from the Forbes Women’s Power Summit
Chief Executive Officer @ PACSUN
This week I had the privilege of attending the Forbes Women’s Power Summit in New York — a gathering of women leaders whose influence is reshaping business, culture, and society.
The conversations were powerful, rooted not just in achievement but in impact and purpose.
One of the most moving moments came when Melinda Gates announced a $100 million commitment to women’s health care. It was a profound reminder of what happens when leaders choose to invest boldly in the future.
Other standout voices included:
Kara Swisher, bringing her trademark candor and insight to technology and leadership.
Hoda Kotb, whose reflections from her new book reminded us of the power of resilience and optimism.
Susie Wolff, head of the F1 Academy, sharing her vision for women in sports at the global level.
I’m deeply grateful to Moira Forbes for curating and hosting such an inspiring event. She continues to champion women’s voices and convene conversations that move us forward.
Walking away, I was struck by the collective energy in the room — women leading with courage, collaboration, and conviction. The summit was a vivid reminder that leadership today is not about control, but about creating opportunities and amplifying voices to shape a more equitable future.
