Honored to Be Named to the WWD Women in Power List

Today in New York, I had the privilege of joining the WWD x FN x Beauty Inc Women in Power event at The Glasshouse — and I’m deeply honored to be recognized on this year’s Women in Power List.
This recognition is not just personal. It’s a celebration of the many ways women are reshaping industries, redefining leadership, and expanding what power means in today’s world.
What “Power” Means to Me
Traditionally, power has been associated with authority, control, and hierarchy. But in today’s world — and especially for Gen Z and Gen Alpha — power looks different.
Power is about co-creation: inviting diverse voices to the table and building something greater together:
Power is about purpose: leading with conviction, not just profit.
Power is about empowerment: ensuring the next generation has the tools, platforms, and confidence to lead.
For me, this recognition affirms that leadership is not about standing above, but building alongside.
Pacsun’s Journey
At Pacsun, we’ve been on a transformation journey — from a mall-based retailer to a culture brand at the intersection of fashion, music, sport, and art. That shift has only been possible because we embraced co-creation.
We built a Youth Advisory Council, giving Gen Z and Gen Alpha direct influence on our strategy.
We launched collaborations that weren’t just product drops, but cultural partnerships rooted in community.
And this fall, we’ll host the Pacsun Purpose Summit, bringing leaders, creators, and youth together to shape the future of culture and commerce.
This honor from WWD reflects not just my journey, but Pacsun’s broader purpose and belief in the power of the next generation.

I’m grateful to my incredible team, our partners, and our community — you’ve all made this journey possible.
Most of all, I’m inspired by the women I stood beside today in New York. Each of them represents a different expression of leadership — creative, innovative, resilient, and purpose-driven. Together, we’re expanding what’s possible.
Closing Thought
Being named to the Women in Power List is a moment I’ll carry with gratitude. But more importantly, it’s a reminder of the responsibility we have to keep opening doors, sharing platforms, and empowering others.
Because true power isn’t what you hold. It’s what you give.
