The Pulse sneaker from Globe is a perfect fusion of athletic styling and skate comfort. The white striping and mid-sole wink at purely athletic shoes, as does this pair’s great light weight. Inside, however, these sneakers ignore those style details completely . The tongue is extra wide so it can handle the wide-set lace plackets, and padded thick to match the ankle walls, and extra stiff heel. The black  outer gets a few extra details added from Globe, in white, and the leather/synthetic material will help it to keep that cool monochrome look. Our favorite detail of all, however, is the gum-colored sole that extends up the back of the heel. It’s the perfect detail to finish blurring the line between skate, and sport shoe.
